Company founded in 1984
Applied Inspection Ltd was formed in March 1984 and fast created a first class reputation for providing an excellent non-destructive testing (NDT) service to the engineering, transport, foundry, mining, petro-chemical, off shore, power generation, aerospace and nuclear industries.
Increase in range of services
An engineering inspection service along with consultancy services in the areas of quality assurance, supplier assessment and welding were soon added to Applied Inspection's portfolio.
Our mission is to continue investing in the training and development of our full time staff to ensure our service is consistently of the highest standard. On the few occasions where we do use sub-contract staff we ensure that they are fully conversant with our quality policy, systems and procedures.
A highly qualified company
We are proud of our achievements. We hold third party quality approvals from BSI to BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 for NDT (in-house at all laboratories and on-site) and Welding (in-house at Burton and on-site), and a number of major customer approvals.
We have a low turnover of staff and received an award from the Variety Club of Great Britain for our commitment to training and contribution to the local environment.
